Roadblock

Four roadblocks that keep people from contributing: (From June 18, 2007 issue of Grand Rapids Business Journal in Michigan)


--we want to be accepted and viewed as one of the 'gang.'
--we wait for an answer rather than taking a risk.
--we want 'peace at any price.'
--we seek to protect ourselves from failure.


The last one is my favorite because according to it: whenever we chose to insulate ourselves from failure rather than learning from it, we lose significance. And for me, thats way too real =)
